Expert witnesses to testify, Sept 4, 2020

Our coalition, Citizen Groups, is included in in the Environmental Groups session at 2:45 in the afternoon.  The expert witnesses we helped raise funds for will present their strong research, encouraging the COGCC to put protective setbacks into the revised oil and gas regulations as mandated by Senate Bill 19-181. These heavy-hitters will provide testimony in an afternoon session at the COGCC’s Mission Change Rulemaking Session, scheduled for 2:45pm (be advised that schedules can get pushed back during the day). This will be historic and important testimony:

Mission Change Rulemaking Hearing, Aug 24-Sept 1, 2020

The Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC) invites the public,parties and stakeholders to attend the Commission’s rulemaking hearing addressing Mission Change, Alternative Location Analysis and Cumulative Impacts for the 200-600 series, as required by SB 19-181. Our Longmont Action Alert

This Tuesday, August 25, Longmont City Council will vote on whether or not to extend their contract with Dr. Detlev Helmig’s company Boulder Air for air quality monitoring at Union Reservoir and Vance Brand Airport.  Your support for extending this contract is badly needed.
